Random Photos of Midnight

We have had Midnight for just over two years. I cannot say we have always been glad to have her. (First dog… hyper puppy… hyper pre-schooler… difficult.)
But she is calming down a lot and we are definitely warming up to her. I know this because Rene didn’t vow to take her to the Rescue Center the last time she ate our hose. He just sighed very deeply and gave her a really evil glare.
Photo taken 2/15/11. Rene has trained her to stay within eating range of the hot dog for over a minute. I’m impressed because I can’t get her to not eat my arm.
Photo taken 2/15/11. Can I just say, “taking photos of a black dog is hard?” The RAW images came out better, but I didn’t want to start fussing with photos, or I’d never post on this blog again!
Photo taken 2/16/11. She seriously cannot resist this bed. Every time I open it, she jumps right on and lays down. Ryan also loves this bed though, so maybe she’s just trying to aggravate him?
Photo taken 2/22/11. I took this when practicing shooting from different viewpoints for my photography class. Laying next to the sofa is another favorite. She can see down the hallway and to the kitchen, so there’s no escaping her when she is here.
Photo taken 2/22/11. I just like how this viewpoint dwarfs Midnight, making her look like a lap dog – which she would take offense at! Again, practicing shooting from different viewpoints.

They may be great photos, but that’s NOT the Midnight I know.
Haha – I can’t help it if she thinks you are her toy. Photo #2 has the teeth out – does that work?
