A frame of a frame

This weekend I got together with some online friends. One of them really knows her antique shopping. I have much to tell about my fantastic weekend. But for now, I’ve got a whiny, crying boy on my arm that is so hungry for candy.
But this weekend, I learned many things. First of them: it’s not that I don’t like antiquing, it’s that I don’t like antiquing IN MIAMI. Check out this cool frame someone found for me! (It’s okay that she thought it was $25, and it was NOT $25. It was still so worth it.)
I just might have to enlarge this photo and put it IN the frame.

I am lovin this!! Happy or not, it is great!! Love the size of this frame.
Keep searching for more. Great props and easy to spray paint!
I love the frame! Cute idea!
I absolutely adore this shot! Very creative! I may have to look for one too to give this a try.
Thank you, Alaina! I did this by placing 3 pavers on the grass in a stack. Then, I had the kids lay down near the pavers. I placed one side of the frame on one set of pavers, and adjusted another stack of 3 pavers to be aligned with the frame. If you look hard, you can see the pavers peeking out on the left (dangit). I then put a step ladder toward the bottom and leaned over them. If I didn’t lean enough, the frame was not straight in the frame. I tried to use the reflector, but then I couldn’t lean in enough. I should have adjusted the ladder to perfectly center the frame, but I barely had them cooperative long enough for this shot!
Love it Marilou! Great idea!
I. Love. This!! So creative and simple. Really well done! And kudos to the kiddos. At least no ants, right?
