Vitamin D Time

Last weekend, Isabel decided to prepare for an ice skating party by practicing on her roller skates. I don’t think it worked out as well as she intended. (I hear there was some wall clinging at the ice rink – it is NOT easy!)
I forced Ryan off the computer for some ‘Vitamin D’ time, as well. He pulled a flag out of the garage that happened to be Isabel’s.
Isabel had a hard time laying claim on the flag, since she had ignored the flag for months prior, so they managed to work out a flag-switching compromise.
It worked great – until Isabel took an extra turn. It was not easy getting Ryan back after that tragedy.
While Ryan recovered, Isabel turned her attention to Midnight, who was enjoying the front yard for a change…
The kids remembered the Frosty popsicles they had made the night prior – and all was right in the world again. (A Frosty popsicle consists of a Frosty, that a particular kid is too full to eat, stuck in the freezer WITH the spoon in.)
Even Midnight got to enjoy the popsicles, as they dripped onto the pavement. She licked up every drop.

I really love the angles you used. The low shots are awesome! I am so happy to see Midnight out with the kids enjoying some Vitamin D as well.
I loved this post. Seeing every day life in your part of the world is delightful. And that photo of crushed Ryan with his head in his arms. Ah…you are a talented photographer!
