I LOVE it when Rene teaches the kids how to make stuff. This was a new bed we bought way back in August (built the 11th, to be exact). I’m catching up on some old stories.
I remember “helping” my dad build things as a kid. There is something empowering about it. I think Isabel was pretty proud when I thanked her so much for my beautiful bed she made.

I loved building things with my dad as a kid. I still call on my dad once in a while to help me with home projects. 🙂
I’m handy around the house today because of what my dad taught me. I love seeing this happen for Isabel. I also love seeing her in that contorted position on the floor!
I love this! It reminds me of my wee one “helping”. Isabel is so willing to help. These are the relationships that grow a girl into a woman to make good decisions in life. I LOVE this!
